So Iโm not a fan of a Christmas sarnieโฆ But Feast has worked its magic, and Iโm totally on board with a festive burger!! ๐๐
๐ Turkey steak coated in seasoned breadcrumbs
๐ง loaded with swiss emmental
๐ cranberry sauce, beef tomato, lettuce & pickle
๐ฅ inside a today-baked brioche & skewered with a honey-glazed pig in blanket
Literally Xmas in a bun ๐ But whatโs more is we had it as part of the Festive Platter.. which was all sorts of brilliant!! And included (in addition to the Festive Burger):
๐ Red wine jus & crispy onion loaded fries
๐ Chestnut mushroom & stuffing Mac ‘n cheese
๐ Mozzarella sticks with cranberry & pomegranate
๐ Maple BBQ wings
๐ 7-hour burnt ends
๐ Garlic bread slices
๐ Cranberry slaw
๐ Buttered corn on cob
The kids were served first, which was absolutely genius – there is nothing worse than hangry children ๐คช The adults had individual trays with main components, then big bowls of the fries, slaw and Macโ n cheese to share. Everything was delicious but I could have eaten the dirty fries all to myself – so SO good ๐คค And the Mac n cheese actually. Iโve been fantasising about them both ever since ๐ Sadly I only managed a shot of the half eaten Mac… I was simply having too much fun (and enjoying my food too much) to be bothered about getting content! #foodbloggerfails
If youโve not visited Feast Clevedon then you wonโt know it has a games room out the back, which is brilliant when you have a hoard of kids (or big kids!!) to entertain. Thereโs air hockey and table tennis, plus a variety of other goodies dotted around – Tracey Island sets, a chequers board, rubix cubes on most of the tables. There was no chance anyone was going to be bored! ๐
The service too was phenomenal! We were a large rabble (10 adults, 12 kids), quite a few us were a little bit late, we were all back and forth to the games roomโฆ But staff were super friendly, attentive, thoughtful (they went to purchase extra jugs for water!) and very patient ๐ฅฐ Oh and they were happy to get a group pic for us too! ๐
I was a little worried being โparty organiserโ. Feast was my idea, and I know itโs easy when catering for large groups for things to go wrong ๐ But I 100% should have known Sam and the team would knock it out of the park ๐ช Iโve had plenty of Feast takeaways…
I’ve been many times with Bea for brunch and ice cream (because doesn’t everyone need a scooop of chocolate before 11am?)
But I can now safely say itโs an excellent choice for groups too! ๐๐๐ I’d also recommend their baked goods from the deli, which you can have in or takeaway. Alright, alright, it’s clear I love everything these guys do ๐ Well apart from the chicken wings… Chicken on the bone is just not for me! But eldest munchkin says they are the best one ever so is happy to take them off my plate – literally!
So pleased these guys expanded and opened Clevedon (only a couple of minutes from home!) in addition to their Yatton base.
Verdict:
I think it’s pretty clear I’m a total Feast fan girl. If you love burgers, dirty fries, Mac & cheese, wings (๐คข) cookies, pastries, ice cream, Biscoff cheesecake (๐คค), speciality hot drinks and cocktails galore… Then you need to try it!
