Hey! I’m going to try and keep this short, although anyone who knows me will know I usually find that pretty hard… My name is Lizzie (obviously), I’m originally from Neath, Wales (Cymru am byth!) but I’ve lived in Bristol since 2004, minus two six month spells, one for a round the world trip in 2009 and the other to teach English in Asia in 2010.

In 2014 after some disastrous online dating (thank goodness I’m only starting this now or it could have all been a bit Bridget Jones!) I decided I’d had enough of the ‘scene’ and swore off men for the rest of year… Which of course meant I met the love of my life in a dodgy ‘Greek taverna’ on Bristols Park Street (we went in for the £2 Jaeger bombs) during a Christmas night out. Fast forward to June 2018 and I am now happily married to Chris, I have two very handsome step sons William aged 10 and Theo almost 8, and our greatest pleasures are – you guessed it, eating and exploring!

So I thought I’d set this blog up, to share snippets of where and what we’ve eaten (expect a lot of pizza and arancini), places we’ve been (west Wales, Cornwall and northern Italy are next on our hitlist) plus our other passion – money saving  (because who doesn’t love a bargain?!) So well done if you made it this far – I guess I better decide what my next post shall be 🙂
