Doesn’t everyone want to celebrate their birthday with a burger as big as their head?! 🍔

Today (May 28th) marks the 16th Birthday of the eldest ‘mini’ George! (Not so mini now he’s pretty much taller than me 😭)

W’s request for his bday meal out, was lunch at a Hungry Horse pub (the desserts hold precious memories in our household) 🥳 We took a look at the ones in our area, and the Rosewood (20 mins from Clevedon) had the highest rating, so decided to travel a little further and head there. Here’s what we had:

🐓 Crispy Chicken Sandwich (garlic ciabatta filled with crispy chicken)

👑 Crown of Burgers (a crown of sliders)

🍔 Quadzilla Burger (2 x Beef & 2 x Chicken!)

🥩 12oz Rump

🐔 Kids Chicken Nuggets, Mash & Beans

🍩 Horseshoe Doughnut

🍫 Ultimate Big Candymania

The kids absolutely loved it! There was a HUGE amount of food for the total cost, which would have been £115 without our 15% off @bluelightcard and a PR discount. Sadly my steak was a little overcooked but everything else was faultless, the fried chicken was actually really good and I’d have that next time.

The staff at the Rosewood were very friendly and having a play park on site plus parking was very convenient, but be aware there aren’t many spaces if you’re going later/on a sunny day.

A reasonably priced family friendly pub which did a great job catering for our birthday celebration. Would love to hear your thoughts on your local Hungry Horse?
