I’ve collated a selection of local yuletide and winter activities in Bristol, Clevedon and the surrounding area to help you plan your festive calendar. I’ve tried to put each section in a start date order, but this list isn’t exhaustive so if you think there’s something that desperately needs to be included that I’ve missed, please do let me know. Some things I’ve not added yet as they are unconfirmed and images are either from event social channels or my own where ever possible.

Enchanted Christmas @ Westonbirt
Fri 24th Nov to Sat 23rd Dec
We visited last November and the trail was magical with lots to entertain (particularly liked the dramatic musical arrangements) even when the rain was hammering it down! MEET SANTA
So I’m a bit fussy when it comes to meeting Father Christmas, we’ve now met a few with Bea but have never found one I truly loved. I don’t personally like it when it’s obvious to me there is more than one Santa for children in one venue! But others might not mind, so I’ve included a variety and left comments where we have personal experience or others have recommended…
Ashton Court

Spotted this one on the instagram of @Emmakateblogs last year and Santa actually comes down the chimney! (But don’t tell the little ones that part – it’s a secret) Book here.
The Flight Before Christmas, Cotswold Airport
Sat 25th Nov to Sunday 24th Dec

Sat 25th Nov to Sunday 24th Dec

Cadbury Garden Centre
Saturday 2nd Dec to Sun 24th Dec
We visited the Cadbury Santa in 2021. It’s one of those where I think it’s fairly obvious there is more than one big guy being met by the kiddies… but the gift was one of the best we’ve received and the interaction was pretty good, so depends if that bothers you! Not many slots left though so if you’re keen book ASAP.
Sail with Santa, Bristol Ferry

Not one we’ve done but like the sound of this – 45 minute boat ride with the big guy, gift for the kids, sherry for the grown ups, festive snacks and a photo opportunity. Sounds fun! Book here.

We met Santa last year at Wookey Hole and it’s one of our daughters best memories – every time she sees a Wookey logo on a bus/billboard etc she talks about it! The caves are lit in a festive manner and there is more than enough to fill the whole day. There are multiple FC’s and to me this was obvious – but to her it was magical, so I know she’d liked to return. Book here.
